Granparent's Day Party
All grandparents of MAU students are welcome to attend an event in their honor on Monday, September 10th. The children in the Infant and Toddler Community will be having a special breakfast with you between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Children in the Children's House Programs will have an event that starts at 9 a.m. which will include the singing of a special song the children have prepared. We will be recording this for grandparents who are not able to attend.
"Young people need something stable to hang on to — a culture connection, a sense of their own past, a hope for their own future. Most of all, they need what grandparents can give them." – Jay Kesler
"What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies." – Rudolph Giuliani
Granparents are truly important in the lives of these young boys and girls. This is a day we honor you for your impact on your grandchildren, your families, the community and the world! Thank you for all you do!
